14th - 18th Feb Cape Jervis, SA
The boys arrived in Cape Jervis for the Annual Real McCoy Fishing Trip to SA. Conditions looked great for the next 5 days and the boys were eager to get out and chase some SA trophy fish.
First day was on the Tuna aboard the fish stalker! The Boys landed 12 early with the biggest going 25kg and was caught by Phil Palmer.
Moved onto some bottom fishing and hooked into 3 Gummy Sharks with Mark Purvis landing a real nice 5 footer. Ripper day 1 on the fish stalker thanks Scotty and the team!
Day 2- the boys hit the Morphetville races in Adelaide.
Day 3 - Big drive out to the secret spot with some huge Trevally and Nannygai being caught in decent numbers. Huge fight for the boys!! Andrew McCoy had a day out with some of the biggest! Old John Crump held his own with some nice fish and Ian Quinn fishing well bagging some bigger fish!
Day 4 was the Whiting day. Finding them in good numbers with 18 in total with also some serious snapper that were released back into the water!
Ripper trip guys , thanks to everyone for making the treck over! Big thank you to Southern Fishing Charters for the 3 days fishing! See you next year!
Winning Anglers for the trip:
1st Andrew McCoy
2nd Mark Purvis
3rd Quinny
